Early Greek / Western Asiatic Bronze Sword

This ancient sword was forged circa 1200 - 800 BC. From the Apollo auction certificate, it is 'a bronze sword with a tapering, double-edged blade featuring a raised central ridge running along its length.  The blade is separately cast and attached to the hilt, which has a rounded shoulder with curved, flanged edges.  The flat grip terminates in a prominent conical pommel.'  This sword has been cleared with the Art Loss Register database to verify it is not stolen goods (see confirmation letter).
